• Go back to the Dashboard and click on Add roles and features click next and keep Role-based or feature-based installation.
• Next on the Server Selection and select Active Direstory Domain Services and Add Features.
• Click on all nexts and then Install.
• Click on the flag and on Promote this server to a doamin controller:

• Add a new forest called: Lab2.local

• Create a password, mine being: sbalemohkrowten#2
• No need to check the Create DNS delegation because we are gonna do this later on.
• Put ACCESS as NetBIOS domain name.
• All Nexts, Install and let the VM restart.
• Here you should be able to login in the local administrator accout with passwd: Admin123

• Once the login done, you can see the configs here:

• Notice the additionnal AD DS and DNS in the Server Manager:
