Once you have download the Windows Server 2022, go in VMware and Create a New Virtual Machine.

Select I will install the operating system later.

Select the Version of Windows Server 2022.

Select Store virtual disk as a single file.

Go to Customize Hardware and give 4GB of Memory to allocate to this VM.

Now, go to Edit virtual machine settings, in CD/DVD (SATA) select Use ISO image file like shown here:

Go in Browse… to select the server that you’ve just downloaded.

Later on, choose the Custom option of Install Microsoft Server Operating System only (advanced).

Choose the password: Admin123
